  1. Tour of Colombia final stage anyone? Track standing on two-digit slopes.

  2. Eder Frayre on Bluff Hill in Stage 4 of the Tour of Southland, I don't blame you for missing it as it only happened yesterday

  3. Giulio Ciccone @ Mortirolo stage 16 of Giro. The conditions were brutal but he was in a class of his own.

  4. Michael Woods on the Superga great one day win for him and for Canada.

  5. The climb that sticks with me is Annamiek Van Vlueten sacrificing a stage win to help Amanda Spratt get on the podium. Is was an inspirational climb and display of team spirit.

  6. Mike Woods dropping Valverde after battling Gaudu the length of Superga, and getting revenge for his second place two years ago.

  7. Basso didn't say "alien"; he said some of the other riders in the peloton were "extraterrestrials."

  8. For me it was Giulio Ciccone's epic stage victory following the Mortirolo climb , also with the gc battle kicking off on the same climb. Stage 16 of the Giro.

  9. what about Sagan wheelie on a TT bike in Tour up hill.

  10. The climb towards Cortilas d'Encamp, Andorra Stage, No 9, Vuelta. Especially in that stairs look with three medium long climbs and little high plateaus in between.

  11. Thanks for including some of the women's races! Sepp Kuss is my favorite. As an American we don't have many riders to cheer on.

  12. Julian! I’ll always remember him and the heart he showed at the Tour this year more so then whoever won the race. He was the story this year for me.

  13. Esteban Chaves' victory in stage 19 of the 2019 Giro d'Italia in the climb to San Martino di Castrozza. The emotion and the shear determination from Chaves in his multiple attacks made it extremely exciting

  14. Thanks for including a couple of UK climbs. Burton Dasset is my stomping ground and was absolutely buzzing that day.

  15. Remco Evenepoel at the Classica San Sebastian, imho…

  16. It had to be Tadje for me, so chuffed seeing him get the white jersey back

  17. Ok GCN how about Richie Porte and his record on the Willunga Hill climb in the Tour Down Under or are you biased towards European races?

  18. I can’t believe stage 6 of the tour of Columbia wasn’t on this list!! Featuring Lopez, Nairoman, Sosa, Bernal, Uran riding for Martinez and Froome practicing riding tempo for Bernal in the 2020 tour defrance. In my opinion it was the best stage of 2019 by a long shot

  19. Annemiek van Vleuten's attack on Lofthouse to win the World Champs surely deserves a mention.

  20. You should include that crazy stage in the tour of Colombia

  21. Mathieu van der Poel winning Amstel Gold in that amazing sprint.

  22. Wondering gcn's thoughts on the British cycling doctor Freeman story and the testosterone delivery allegations ?care to comment?

  23. Ummmmm, Italian poly-syllabic words place the "accent", or emphasis, on the second syllable, so Nibali is pronounced nee-BALL-ee. Do try to keep up.

  24. All good, but … how 'bout longer videos of the riders climbing? Maybe a follow-up video featuring actual climbing, not just the jump and line-crossing?

  25. Remco evenepoel on the final climb of the classica san sebastian

  26. Dan, nice shout-out from Cavendish at the Rouleur Classic. Though we take the piss out of you here in the comment section, and you disparage yourself quite regularly, let us not forget that you were indeed a pro. And from what Cav said it seems you were a pro's pro – the best kind. Cheers.

  27. If it was 2018 monte zoncolan in the giro with froome Yates battling it out for the win

  28. My epic climb was walking up the last climb at Paris Ancaster – completely knackered, back well and truly blown up, over geared and out of gas. That said, when I mounted at the top with a flat 100m to go the crowd cheered me on to remount and finish in 42nd place in my age category. Best day ever.

  29. Nairo Quintana in Stage 18 of the Tour de France. Did no one see him go off and get the stage win by like 3 minutes??

  30. Nice video guys – do you keep a tally of these throughout the year or do you go back through all the races to pick out the top 10? The latter would be tough!

  31. …and that's Dan Lloyd, giving Tadej Pogacar, my fellow young Slovenian, a kiss of death…

  32. Stage 19 of this year's Giro where Chaves got his stage win. Scenes.

  33. Some rather obscure choices and some I can agree with in your selection.
    1) Côte de la Roche aux Faucons, where Fuglsang destroyed the field, is definitely the most memorable ascent of 2019 for me.
    2) Also, I rate highly the climb up Lago Serru in the Giro where Zakarin won and Nibali/Roglic looked at each other allowing Carapaz to get away.
    3) There were also some very epic stages in Tirreno and Itzulia, in particular the Itzulia stage that ended atop Arrate where Buchmann won from a solo break.
    4) From the Tour, I think that the stage to Prat d'Albis was also very nice. Seeing Pinot drop Bernal from his wheel is very memorable because it clearly illustrates what could have been the outcome of this year's Tour, if Pinot had not suffered injuries.

  34. Richard Carapaz the best of Giro 2019…. 👏👏👏👏😁😁😁😁

  35. FWIW, I dont care for the Guy on left. He needs a voice changer if he's going to speak in future videos. And he sounds arrogant.

  36. The Challambra Crescent in the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race – having ridden up it in the public event, watching the pros do it three times has given me a great respect for how bloody tough and fit the riders are.

  37. The unnamed Hill where VanderPoel broke in the wc

  38. Two by Sagan during the 2019 TdF. Riding a wheelie on the TT bike up the final climb and signing a book for a fan on the Tourmalet. Style and Class!

  39. It's bad enough having to listen to the annoying voices of the presenters, without seeing their ugly mugs on-screen far more than the cycling….
Watch some "Lantern Rouge" videos. STUDY them….GCN SUX!

  40. Remco Evenepoel in Donostiako Klasikoa

  41. Burton Dassett's one of my local climbs, only a couple of miles from home – love it up there!
